After receiving her BA in English from Tulane University and her MA in literature from American University, Gerbig began teaching college composition and high school English in the Washington, DC, area.

 

Eventually, she moved back home to Columbus, Ohio, where she taught English at a local prep school, married and had triplet girls.

 

Currently, she is parenting, writing, developmental editing, recommending books at The Big Thrill, and teaching classes through Literary Cleveland. You can find samples of her published work on the Non-fiction and Fiction pages.
